Wyndham Lake Buena Vista is a 626-room resort situated on the property of Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. It is located at 1850 Hotel Plaza Blvd., across from the Disney Springs area.
The hotel originally opened in October 1972 as the Americana Dutch Inn. As the Americana Dutch Inn it became the 3rd hotel to open on Walt Disney World property, located on Hotel Plaza Boulevard. It operated under the name until 1985 and in February 1986 it became the Grosvenor Resort. The hotel operated as Best Western Grosvenor for a number of years. On September 1, 2007, the property changed its name to Regal Sun Resort as part of a $25 million renovation. The hotel changed names again on November 20, 2010 when it became Wyndham Lake Buena Vista, operated by Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.
The hotel has 19,000 square feet (1,800Â m2) of meeting space and features a fitness center and two swimming pools.
