Melanie Christine Specht is an American actress.

The world's largest and best-selling men's magazine Men's Health listed her as one of the 100, The Hottest Women of 2014.

Early life

Specht was born in Washington, D.C. and grew up in Northern Virginia. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications from Florida State University. She then moved to West Hollywood to pursue her career in the film and television industry.

Specht was inspired by acting when she was a kid. When she was 4 years old, she attended a performance of Snow White with her mother and older sister who was in the play; since she wasn't given a chance to be in the play, she went onto the stage and jumped into the narrator's lap just as the curtain opened as though she was acting in the show.

Specht's started her acting career in 2004 in the American television soap opera The Young and the Restless with a small role as a Nurse. She also acted in another role in the soap opera Passions in 2005 as a Receptionist.

Thereafter Specht appeared in television shows such as The Ex List (2009), Entourage (2010) and Body of Proof (2011).

She acted in the Second City Network's short film Cherry On Top as a prostitute who is using social media to attract clients.

Specht acted in the 2007 film Loveless in Los Angeles as Tom Brady Babe.

Specht appeared in the film directed by Michael Bay, Transformers: Age of Extinction as Joshua's (played by Stanley Tucci) senior executive assistant.

Specht likes both drama and comedy with special interests in sketch comedy. She is a member of the Strait Jacket Society, a sketch comedy company based in Los Angeles and a performer of sketch comedy for the last few years. She is also acting in a sketch comedy web series, The 5 Minute Sketch Show.
